The Öhlins HD 514 is an STX 46 rear shock at the STX Performance level for the 2018-and-later Harley-Davidson Softail. Softail models use a single rear shock, so this is one complete unit.
It is 320.5 mm (12.6 in.) long, with 43.5 mm of stroke and a black 105 N/mm spring. The 46 mm main piston, high-pressure nitrogen charge and adjustable rebound damping come with a hose-mounted hydraulic preload adjuster, so preload can be set for a passenger or luggage. Öhlins part number HD 514.
